Pocket mattresses
A pocket mattress is a spring mattress. Its advantages are, above all, high comfort. It is a traditional model characterised by springs in individual pockets. Although pocket mattresses have only become popular in Poland in recent decades, their history dates back to the end of the 19th century. Today, the design of pocket mattresses is, of course, much more modern, but it is based on the same tried and tested idea.
What makes a pocket mattress different?
The products in this category, which you will find in our shop, are equipped with coil springs - their shape can be compared to that of a pen spring. They flex independently of each other, which can help to align the body properly during sleep. The springs are enclosed in fabric pockets - this simple patent allows each spring to work independently. The pressure force at a certain point on the mattress determines whether the spring will compress more or less. This ensures excellent point-to-point elasticity. As a result, the mattress keeps the spine in the correct position for its natural curvature.
The pocket spring mattress "follows" the movements of the rotating person, adapting the level of deflection of the individual springs to the different parts of the body. That's why it's so comfortable, but that's not the end of its list of benefits!
