Canopies are most commonly installed above entry doors, but they’re also frequently used on balconies and patios. They’re designed to protect guests and residents from rain and sun, but that’s not all. Under certain circumstances, an entryway canopy can affect our safety. When snow or icicles fall from the roof, exterior door canopies can protect against impact or reduce its force.

FUNCTIONAL DESIGN

• The side elements that support the entire structure are made of durable material, making the structure resistant to strong gusts of wind. The canopy is secured to the facade with 4 screws, which are included in the kit.
• The canopy is made of 0.5 cm thick transparent multi-wall polycarbonate, which provides protection from the sun and precipitation. Its slope and contoured shape ensure that water and snow drain freely during rain, thus preventing excessive load and damage to the canopy.

INSTALLATION

The canopy must be installed using the durable metal fasteners included in the kit ; the 4-point mounting ensures a proper and secure attachment to the building wall. You can install it yourself, and it will take no more than 1.5 hours.

The kit includes special metal fasteners in two lengths:

• 6 cm
• 25 cm

The different lengths allow for installation tailored to the specific location; the longer ones are suitable for walls insulated with polystyrene panels. The shorter ones are intended for uninsulated walls.
