PROPER CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• PREPARATION – Before first use, the cast iron kettle must be prepared. Rinse it with water, dry it thoroughly, then coat the entire surface (inside and out) with a thin layer of cooking oil. Place the prepared pot on hot coals and boil water in it for about 30 minutes. This process is necessary to prevent the pot from rusting.
• CLEANING – due to the cast iron material, use only water for cleaning.
• MAINTENANCE – to extend the pot’s lifespan, coat the inner and outer surfaces with a thin layer of oil after each wash.
